Thanks to the collaboration between SWPS University and Collegium Da Vinci, students may use the collections of both institutions. The combined collection holds nearly 40,000 books on the subjects such as psychology, sociology, cultural studies and other disciplines and over 100 academic and professional periodicals. Students and faculty may also use the reading room of the Women’s Association Konsola, which offers a variety of materials on feminism and gender issues.

Electronic Databases

Students and lecturers of SWPS University have access to Polish and foreign electronic databases of articles, periodicals and other materials, including: EBSCO, PsycINFO, PsycARTICLES, SocINDEX with Full Text and Elsevier. They may also use the largest Polish electronic lending library ibuk.pl.

with Special Needs

Our library in Poznań is equipped with specialized tools to meet the needs of users with disabilities, including: JAWS – specialized software OCR ABBY Fine Reader 15 enabling conversion of printed materials into digital format, a keyboard for visually impaired persons, and a scanner. The library also provides access to the Academic Digital Library, which holds handbooks and study materials in various digital formats, including: DOC, HTML, PDF, and DAISY.
