Magdalena specializes in UX research for complex and advanced digital products. As Lead Researcher at Lufthansa Systems, she is responsible for building research strategy and the operational side of research - ResearchOps. She also leads research on one of the leading global products used by airlines for flight planning - Lido Flight 4D.
Before joining Lufthansa Systems, she worked at Kainos as a researcher on a healthcare (NHS) solution in the UK - a platform providing medical professionals with access to integrated patient medical data. She has also previously researched digital cultural heritage and digitization in several countries for various organizations, including the Interactive Institute Swedish ICT, NODEM Network of Design and Digital Heritage, the National Institute for Museums and Public Collections, and the National Digital Archive in Poland.
She works closely with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure that the final solution meets users' needs and that the research strategy brings long-term benefits to the business. She supports participatory methods and design thinking, ensuring that the proposed research and project activities fit into the organization's strategy.
She is keen to share her knowledge and engage in activities that promote the role of research and UX, e.g., as a lecturer (SWPS University, UG), Aviation Hub Pomerania Ambassador.
She received her Ph.D. from the University of Jyväskylä (Finland) and her Master's Degree from the Adam Mickiewicz University (Poland).
