Psychologist. Her research interests focus on intuition and other cognitive and emotional process, such as decision making. She also researches the role of imagination, emotion and numerical abilities in perception of risk taking, in particular, mechanisms of uncertainty involved in this process.
In her research projects, she tests effectiveness of various methods, such as training, alerts and visual aids, that may support people in making sound decisions and in understanding risks, such as flood or smog.
Author of numerous publications in international journals, including Intelligence, Judgement and Decision Making, and Journal of Cognitive Psychology.
At SWPS University, she teaches cognitive psychology, critical analysis of literature and advises students in their research projects.
