Agata Wytykowska-Kaczorek, Ph.D., is a psychologist. She researches the combined impact of emotional, motivational, and cognitive processes on human behavior.
She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). As a therapist, she helps patients in crisis situations, suffering from anxiety, affective and personality disorders. She also supports people in maintaining motivation and undertaking initiatives conducive to personal development. She conducts team workshops teaching soft skills, such as communication, collaboration, and goal attainment strategies. Additionally, she provides personal development training, using positive psychology approach.
Dr. Wytykowska-Kaczorek was a principal investigator in a research project “Cognitive strategies motived by approach – avoidance: integration of three theoretical perspectives”.
She is a member of the European Association of Personality Psychology (EAPP) and the European Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies (EABCT). She is also a member of the Program Committee of the Polish Positive Psychology Association (PTPP).
At SWPS University she teaches classes in psychopathology, personal development, anxiety and depression, personality disorders, advanced abnormal psychology, and personal skills.
