Franciszek Ostaszewski is a psychologist, who is currently pursuing a doctorate at SWPS University’s Interdisciplinary Doctoral School. He carries out research in the field of behavioral economics. He also researchers the process of decision making, in particular the impact of wellbeing on decision making.

In 2018, Franciszek won an academic achievement scholarship granted by the Rector of SWPS University, and the following year, a scholarship provided by Poland’s Minister of Science and Higher Education. In 2020, Franciszek was named Very Important Student (VIS), a title granted to SWPS University students who excel in academic and overall achievement.

At SWPS University, Franciszek teaches basic and advanced statistics.
