Profile

Dr. Jaku Kuś researches the impact of new technologies on human behavior and interpersonal relationships, in particular, the influence of new technologies on human emotions, cognition and ethics. He is interested in the phenomenon of online hate and its consequences. He also analyzes coping mechanisms people employ to deal with aggression encountered on the internet. He also researches how people present themselves in social media and how they build they image online.

Dr. Kuś is a member of the Polish Society of Social Psychology (PSPS), and a Chairman of the Scientific Board of the Polish Association of Students and Graduates of Psychology.

At SWPS University in Wrocław, he teaches classes in personality psychology, social psychology and psychometrics and is the Head of the “Psychology of the new media” program of study.
