Magdalena Marszałek is a psychologist specializing in work and organizational psychology.
Her research interests include job crafting, team identification in employment context, the social identity theory of leadership, and job insecurity. She is also interested in employee alignment in organizations.
Currently, she is a researcher in an international project “Bridging Psychology with Societal Development Science: Fifty Countries Research into the Relation Between ‘Folk Theories of Societal Development’ and ‘Ideal Types of Well-being’, financed by the National Science Centre’s funding scheme GRIEG, provided by the Norway and EEA Grants.
Magdalena has gained valuable business experience as a marketing specialist (creating marketing campaigns), and data analyst (at a department of development and transformation). She also worked in the telecommunication sector, where she gained unique practical skills while working at height as a mobile network technician. Her diverse professional experience has been aligned with her research interests.
At SWPS University she teaches classes in work and organizational psychology and ethics in psychotherapy.
