Magdalena Romanowska is currently pursuing an industrial doctorate focused on “Learning for old age and aging. Intergenerational education in a relational approach“, funded by the Minister of Education and Science. Her research is linked with her occupation as a Specialist for Intergenerational Integration at the Nowolipie Center for Intergenerational Activity (Centrum Aktywności Międzypokoleniowej „Nowolipie”), where she coordinates a “Lifelong Learning” program and organizes activities conducive to the integration of youth and senior citizens.
She holds a Master’s degree from the Faculty of Visual Culture Management (currently the Faculty of Artistic Research and Curatorial Studies) of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She contributed to an artistic project — The Masters’ Studio (Studio Mistrzów) carried out by the BWA Wrocław Galleries of Contemporary Art, from 2019 to 2021.
Magdalena is also the Vice-President of the Plecionka Society, which supports youth from rural areas, and a member of the Anti-discrimination Education Society.
