Profile

Barbara Ostafińska-Molik, holds a doctoral degree in pedagogy (2008) and Master's degrees in Pedagogy (2001) and Sociology (2004) from the Jagiellonian University. Currently, she pursues a Master’s degree in psychology at SWPS University.

She works at the Institute of Education at Jagiellonian University, in the Laboratory of Health Pedagogy, and is the Head of the Laboratory of Pedagogical Diagnoses.

Her professional interests include self-esteem, foundation of mental health, resilience, diagnosis and measurement of the overall human development and education. In particular, she is interested in psychometrics, which she explores by creating and adapting accurate and reliable tools used in research and psychological assessment.
