Profile

Tomasz Kupiec, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor at the Centre for European Regional and Local Studies (EUROREG), at the University of Warsaw. Holds a doctoral degree in management science (2016).

His research interests and publications focus on the evaluation use in public policy, performance of evaluation systems, and structures of multi-organizational evaluation systems.

Dr. Kupiec has gained extensive professional experience in the field of regional development and cohesion policy, while working for the public administration of the Silesia region (south-west Poland), for over 6 years.

Since 2010, he has been working as an independent evaluator of public policies. He conducted evaluation studies and provided expertise to the European Commission, the European Parliament as well as several ministries and regional governments in Poland.
