Profile
Professor Sławomir Kursa is a lawyer specializing in private (civil) law, as well as Roman and modern comparative law, with a particular focus on inheritance law. As a practicing attorney-at-law, his work encompasses inheritance law, real estate law, and corporate client support, specializing in obligations—including receivables and contract law.
Research
His current research focuses on modern forms of wills. He has conducted studies at several international institutions, including:

Professor Kursa is also an active participant and co-organizer of academic conferences, having contributed to over 100 national and international events.

He has authored legal opinions for the Polish National Chamber of Legal Advisers as well as several dozen academic publications, including five monographs (one of which was published in Italian by the Faculty of Law at the University of Bari).
He serves as the section editor for law for the journal Civitas et Lex.
