“On a White Horse” is a story about fragile human relationships with Polish folk music in the background. Julia almost has it all: she has travelled the world, has an exciting job, and a good relationship with her younger sister, but she still feels unfulfilled. She is yearning for love and a relationship, however, an idealized image of her father who died many years ago, makes it difficult for her to find the right man. During summer vacation, Julia meets Szymek, who seems to be perfect. Will Julia surrender and find happiness?
The omnibus behind the film is Cezary Hładki who co-wrote (with Michał Włodarczyk) the screenplay and dialogues, directed and edited the film. He was also one of the film’s cinematographers and contributed to the soundtrack.
The film was developed under the supervision of Ewa Pytka, director, producer, screenwriter, journalist, and a university lecturer, at the Warsaw Film School.
