As a co-organizer of the 12th International Festival of Literature and Theatre Between.Pomiędzy, we would like to invite all those interested in culture to join the numerous events that the Festival will offer between May 10th and 16th. As this year's Festival will take place online, audiences will have an excellent opportunity to meet writers, playwrights, and theatre professionals from Poland and around the world, to watch theatre productions, listen to radio plays, and participate in workshops without ever leaving home. Some of this year’s international guests include: Jen Hadfield, Mimi Khalvati, Paula Meehan, S.E. Gontarski, Nicholas Johnson, Robson Corrêa de Camargo, Octavian Saiu, Peng Tao, and Wang Chong.

The motto of the 12th International Festival of Literature and Theatre is a quote from Samuel Beckett's a short narrative "Company":
"You turn on without moving from your place the light above you. Your eyes light on the watch lying beneath it. But instead of reading the hour of night they follow round and round the second hand now followed and now preceded by its shadow."
The mission of the Festival is to ignite creativity and learning. All events and activities promote readership and encourage active participation in diverse cultural forms.

Gontarski, Robson Corrêa de Camargo, Nicolas Johnson, Paul Allain, Douglas Rintoul, Derek Attridge, H. Porter Abbott, Enoch Brater, Teatr Pieśń Kozła, Ośrodek Praktyk Teatralnych "Gardzienice”, Teatr ZAR, Teatr Wierszalin, Teatr Wybrzeże, Sopocki Teatr Tańca, DzikiStyl Company, Monika Sznajderman, Andrzej Stasiuk, Justyna Bargielska, Krzysztof Miklaszewski, Maciej Rychły, Mateusz Rychły, and Zbigniew Benedyktowicz.
The Festival offers a variety of events and activities in Polish and English, including:
- “Poetry for these days” ‒ a series of meetings with contemporary poets, Jen Hadfield, Paula Meehan, and Mimi Khalvati, and their poetry.
- A Beckett Seminar ‒ an opportunity to meet acclaimed researchers of Beckett’s works, including: Nicholas Johnson, Robson Corrêa de Camargo, Peng Tao, Wang Chong, SE Gontarski, and Tomasz Wiśniewski.
- A workshop “How Artificial Intelligence shapes human identity and creativity” ‒ led by Izabela Witoszko from Mit/Microsoft
- Several theatre productions presented by Teatr Powszechny from Warsaw, Teatr ZAR, Teatr Pieśń Kozła, Teatr BOTO, Teatr DzikiStyl Company, and Teatr Miniatura. Viewers will also have an opportunity to participate in a discussion with the actors and director from Teatr Powszechny in Warsaw.
