What have we learned from the pandemic?

The year 2020 brought huge and unexpected changes affecting the whole world. The coronavirus pandemic has affected not only individuals, but also whole societies and global economic markets. During our Summer School students will have an opportunity to learn, from an interdisciplinary perspective, about the issues related to the pandemic. Classes will focus on legal aspects of the pandemic as well as on social issues related to health care and technology. We will pose the following questions: Has the world managed to successfully deal with the pandemic? How should we prepare for similar events in the future?

To successfully complete the Summer School, students will be asked to write an essay on the topics discussed during the course.

Lecturers will include academics form SWPS University and Universitat Jaume I in Castellón, University of Sassari, Italy, and the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain.
