SWPS University, has joined an Erasmus Mundus Consortium that will deliver a 2-year Joint Master Degree Program in Psychology of Global Mobility, Inclusion and Diversity in Society. The Consortium, which also includes ISCTE University Institute of Lisbon in Portugal, University of Limerick in Ireland, University of Oslo in Norway, and Koç University, in Istanbul, Turkey, has been awarded a grant by the European Commission to implement the program and fund a total of 58 scholarships, over three years. The first class of students will begin the program in the fall of 2017. Graduates will be awarded a joint master degree from at least two universities.
The Global-MINDS is an English-language Master Degree program for students with a Psychology Bachelor degree or equivalent. It consists of obligatory study and research periods, in at least two universities. It offers two mobile study paths: 1st semester in Warsaw and 2nd semester in Oslo or Istanbul or 1st semester in Lisbon and 2nd semester in Limerick or Oslo. The program is designed to deliver high quality international training in scientific knowledge and practical skills in social and cultural psychology.
The program is open to scholarship and self-financing students. The grant, awarded to the Consortium by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) of the European Commission, will mainly finance student tuition fees and living expenses. The scholarship scheme is open to university students from all over the world.
With a joint degree and an international study experience, Graduates of the Erasmus Mundus Global-MINDS program will be equipped to meet the demands of the international and multicultural job market. According to the Bureau of Labour Statistics, social psychologists in the private sector will continue to be in demand as societies become more and more diverse and continue to tackle issues of race, religion, and cross-cultural cooperation.

The Global-MINDS program offers high quality international training in social and cross-cultural psychology that combines scientific knowledge and practical skills. Carefully selected courses provide students with an opportunity to focus on global issues, such as: migrations, immigrant adaptation, ethnic conflicts management, cross-cultural management, etc. and to apply their knowledge in practice, thanks to the intercultural experience, gained in at least two countries, where the partner universities are located.
