Times Higher Education has recently published its annual Young University Ranking. The ranking assesses universities that were established less than 50 years ago. SWPS University, which this year is celebrating its 25th jubilee, has been ranked between 301 and 350, among the total of 475 universities that were assessed this year. Our scores are higher in the teaching, research, citations, and international outlook categories as compared to 2020. We are the only university from Poland in this ranking.
Times Higher Education Young University Ranking
The Times Higher Education (THE) Young University Rankings apply the same methodology as the World University Rankings to assess research-intensive universities across all their core missions: teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook. However, the weightings are recalibrated to reflect the profile of missions of young universities.
The ranking includes institutions that were founded between 1971 and the present, i.e. universities that have been established less than 50 years ago.
The performance indicators are grouped into five areas: teaching (the learning environment); research (volume, income and reputation); citations (research influence); international outlook (staff, students and research); and industry income (knowledge transfer).
