Accessibility features
In our libraries and reading rooms, we strive to provide persons with disabilities with the best environment and accessibility features such as special adjustments and specialized equipment and software that enable full use of teaching materials, books, and magazines. Moreover, persons with disabilities may borrow more books (up to 10) and audiovisual materials (up to 5) at a time, and keep them longer (books for up to 42 days and audiovisual materials for up to 28 days) than the regular lending periods allow. Persons with disabilities can also borrow books by proxy.
Digital resources
Digitization of printed content
Blind and visually impaired persons may request digitization of printed materials. To have the printed materials digitized, please contact the Accessibility, Scholarship and Student Events Center at the beginning of the academic year.
Access to digital resources
Our Academic Digital Library (ADL) provides blind and visually impaired persons with access to teaching materials in a format aligned with their needs. Moreover, we offer access to the ADL that contains specially adapted reading materials, such as books, magazines and teaching handouts. The system offers search and review features. Users can perform a simple or a more complex search. The catalogue offers search by “author”, “title”, and “key words/phrases”. A simple interface makes it easy for the blind and visually impaired persons to use the system. There are several graphic schemes available, which provide comfortable viewing options for persons with various vision impairments.
