Beata Urbańska is currently pursuing her doctoral degree at SWPS University. She researches how the understanding of freedom impacts human behavior related to social good and ecology. She also investigates how religiosity and spirituality influence wellbeing and readiness to help others.
She is a member of the Polish Society of Social Psychology (PSPS). As a research fellow, she participated in projects funded by the National Science Centre, which investigated correlations between values and wellbeing, and the long-term psychosocial consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Beata co-authored Everyone has their own story, but it hurts us all the same. Learning from the experiences of older Ukrainian refugees in Poland, a report commissioned by HelpAge International.
At SWPS University, she teaches social psychology and practical research skills. She also runs a seminar on political psychology.
