Social psychologist. She researches how people resolve conflict between honesty and care. She studies dishonest behaviors and categorization of lies (lie-labellig). She is also interested in individual differences in the context of sense-making and the consequences arising from these differences.

Member of various international research teams conducting studies in cross-cultural psychology. Principal Investigator in various research projects, financed by the National Science Centre or the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

Author of numerous articles published in national and international journals, such as Personality and Individual Differences,and The Journal of Social Psychology.

At the Wrocław Faculty of Psychology, she teaches methods of conducting empirical research.
