The quality of our studies in psychology is evidenced by the highest evaluation by the Polish Accreditation Commission, awarded in 2016. The superior level of education, qualifications of our research and teaching staff and the level of advancement of the research pursued by our faculty members were all greatly appreciated.

Specialisation studies in clinical psychology
We are the only institution of higher learning in South-West Poland licensed to conduct specialization studies in clinical psychology for holders of MA degrees in psychology in accordance with the regulation of the Minister of Health on obtaining the title of specialist in health care professions.

Persons considering a career in research can take advantage of the offer of our Doctoral School where they will prepare to conduct research in the most cutting edge, advanced areas of psychology such as psychology of health, clinical psychology, social psychology, economic psychology or cognitive psychology by working with experts from our faculty.
Distinguished researchers and experienced practitioners
Students cooperate with scientists and practitioners renowned in Poland and abroad, including professor Dariusz Doliński - an expert in social behavior psychology and psychology of emotions and motivation, professor Tomasz Zaleśkiewicz - specialist in economic psychology, and professor Ralf Schwarzer - one of the most prominent health psychologists.
Students also gain knowledge under the guidance of the winners of the prestigious “MISTRZ” program of the Foundation for Polish Science - philosophy professor Leszek Koczanowicz and health psychologist professor Aleksandra Łuszczyńska, whose research is recognized internationally. The faculty also employs experienced practitioners, such as dr Karolina Zarychta-Zajączkowska, a therapist certified with the Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre, and dr Izabela Pawłowska, a supervisor in behavioral-cognitive therapy.
