Magdalena Kosno, Ph.D. is a child and adolescent psychologist and a special ed pedagogue. She is interested in development psychology and researches the development of cognitive functions and self-regulation in children and youth.
She published numerous articles in scientific journals, such as the European Journal of Developmental Psychology, the Journal of Experimental Child Psychology, Infant Behavior and Development, and the Polish Psychological Bulletin. She co-authored the following publications: Wybrane zagadnienia diagnozy psychologicznej dzieci i młodzieży w kontekście wielokulturowości oraz wielojęzyczności [Selected aspects of child and adolescent psychological assessment in the multicultural and multilanguage context] (2013, Warsaw, Ośrodek Rozwoju Edukacji), Dzieci i sztuka [Children and Art] (2021, Kraków, Małopolski Instytut Kultury), and Nastolatki i sztuka [Teenagers and Art] (2023, Kraków, Małopolski Instytut Kultury).
She is the Vice-Director of the Center for Child Development and Family (CRESCO) in Kraków.
At SWPS University, she teaches classes in developmental psychology, ethics for psychologists, and basic psychological skills.
