Profile

Marta Wróblewska, Ph.D. is an applied linguist and philosopher. Her research interests include discourse analysis, academic discourse, genre analysis, research evaluation, higher education studies.

She is a Principal Investigator in a research project “Evaluation of research impact and academic discourse – a comparative approach (Poland, UK, Norway) 2023-2025”, financed by the National Science Centre.

Dr. Wróblewska has authored academic journal articles on discourse analysis, education and higher education, and has written chapters in books published by Routledge and Brill.

As an "impact ninja", she supports Polish universities in the preparations for evaluation exercises. As an expert on higher education and science (in particular on research evaluation) she comments on these topics in professional media, such as Times Hither Education, Research Europe, and Research Professional News. She is also the author of e-books concerning planning scientific careers.

At SWPS University she teaches translation theory, academic writing, and lectures on feminist theory and post-structuralism. Additionally, she is an undergraduate thesis advisor.
