Profile

Sociologist and political scientist. Professionally she is interested in researching the mechanisms that guide voters’ decisions and whether decisions based on rational criteria calculation have a positive effect on participation in elections. She also studies relations between citizens and political parties, as well as issues related to the practice and theory of democracy.

She is a member of the research team at the Center for the Study of Democracy, cooperates with the Batory Foundation and the Center for Citizenship Education. She co-wrote Democratic Audit of Poland (2105), writes articles for scientific journals, such as: New Eastern Europe, Studia Socjologiczne (Sociological Studies), and is the author of many reports and studies on the participation of Poles in the elections. She reguralry comments on current political events in leading media, including newspapers Gazeta Wyborcza and Rzeczpospolita, and radios TOK FM and RMF FM.

At SWPS University, she lectures on contemporary theoretical orientations in sociology, as well as methods and tools of human resources management research.
