Attorney at law, specializing the European Union, medical, international, and diplomatic law.
His research interests focus on the Polish-European Union relations, in particular on matters related to policies and human rights, including migrant issues. In the area of medical law, he researches ethical issues and liability for medical errors.
As a scholar, he collaborates with various universities around the world, including Minot State University (USA), the Atma Jaya Catholic University (Indonesia), and Hebei Foreign Studies University (China).
As a former Director for International Relations at SWPS University, he established cooperation with several partner universities in China, Ukraine, Jordan, Indonesia, and the United States.
He is also an attorney at law, formerly with Chmaj and Associates.
He published extensively on medical law, human rights, and European Union law. His articles appeared in various journals and books, for example: Medyczne prawo karne (Medical criminal law) (2016), “Azjatycki systemy obrony praw człowieka. Inspiracja uniwersalna - uwarunkowania kulturowe - bariery realizacyjne” (The Asian System for the Protection of Human Rights. Universal Inspiration - Cultural Determinants - Barriers to Implementation) (2016), and “Prawa Mniejszości Narodowych” (Rights of National Minorities) (2010).
At SWPS University, he teaches international law, legal culture of the Far East, and the law of the European Union. He is also a coordinator of the Law Program.
