Scope of Activity
Academic Staff Development
We support our academic staff in refining their teaching practice and research methodology through dedicated training sessions, workshops, and individual consultations. Central to this effort is our recurring series — Academic Competency Weeks (TKA). This initiative features a comprehensive program of workshops focused on enhancing both instructional and research capabilities. During these sessions, lecturers can explore the latest educational trends, improve their research techniques, exchange professional experiences, and broaden their skill sets.
Teaching Consultancy
The Center offers services of a dedicated team of teaching consultants who provide personalized support to lecturers at every stage of the teaching process — from course planning and delivery to evaluation and continuous improvement. Our advisors provide expert guidance on designing syllabi, choice of methodology for student activation, implementation of new technologies, and navigating challenging classroom situations.
Academic community and best practice sharing
We foster an environment dedicated to collaboration and the exchange of ideas among teaching staff. A key initiative within this area is EDUdzielnia — a series of recurring meetings designed specifically for educators. Under the guidance of education consultants, participants share best practices and inspiring ideas for classroom instruction. They also analyze current pedagogical challenges, brainstorm effective solutions, and engage in peer-to-peer learning thanks to a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
Research and teaching innovations
We conduct research into key aspects of teaching and learning in higher education, translating our findings into practical recommendations and solutions. We design and implement innovative teaching methods, integrate new technologies into the curriculum, and promote solutions that enhance educational inclusivity.
