The Department employs experts specializing in visual design. Head of the Department: Agnieszka Rayss, Ph.D. | Assistant Professor, a photographer and cofounder of the Sputnik Photos collective.

What we do

Designers and artists

The Department of Visual Design brings together designers, artists and educators, who are interested in combining fine arts and design, often in conjunction with other art disciplines.

Our lecturers specialize in various forms of visual design, including graphic design, photography, and book arts. They experiment with space and objects, and curate design and photography exhibitions. They collaborate with a variety of cultural institutions. They share their professional experience with students, teaching them solid design basics and encouraging them to be bold and experiment with their designs.
