Tamara Kamińska is a doctoral student working on her Ph.D. at SWPS University’s Creative Economy Research Center.
She has been collaborating with various organizations in the Creative Content Industry (CCI) for over 12 years. As a program director of one of the most significant cultural institutions in Poland, Tamara was responsible for organizing and producing important music events, such as WOMEX’17. She also wrote the winning application to join The UNESCO Creative Cities Network for the City of Katowice. She was responsible for the implementation of the entire "Katowice City of Music" program. Since 2018 she has been a member of the steering committee of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN).
Tamara holds several positions at various institutions, including Director of Music Export Poland, advisor to the Board of the Society of Authors ZAiKS (where ZAiKS stands for Society of Authors and Stage Composers) and coordinator of the European Music Exporters Exchange network.
As an independent consultant specializing in the development of organizations in the creative industries sector, Tamara has been collaborating with numerous municipalities around the world on their cultural development strategies.
