The Between.Pomiędzy Foundation, in collaboration with the University of Gdańsk, and SWPS University, invites all secondary school teachers, who would like to gain valuable educational tools and enrich the standard curriculum, to join the Between.Edukacja 2021 Program. The Program, which focuses on Polish and international literature and theatre, provides the participants with a package of educational materials coupled with lesson plans offering various approaches to the subject. The program is supported by the Marshall Office of the Pomorskie Region and the City of Sopot, and is run in cooperation with II Liceum Ogólnokształcące in Sopot (a secondary school in Sopot).
Schools can participate in the program both online and in person.
Education is a key component of the initiatives organized by the Between.Pomiędzy Foundation. The workshops and lectures, offered in Polish and English, are addressed to secondary school students. The program is run in collaboration with selected teachers who work at various secondary schools and who know the actual needs of students, and can align the program of the workshops with the curriculum. Thanks to the use of new technologies, the creative, multimedia program encourages dialogue and focuses on the opportunities for spending time on arts- and culture-related activities. The workshops employ varied teaching methodologies, such as tutoring and online art education.
In November 2021, the Between.Pomiędzy Foundation will post 15 new lesson plans in Polish and English. The goal of the program is to encourage students to actively participate in arts and culture, by providing them with interesting online materials.
We would like to invite all teachers to join our preliminary webinar, scheduled for November 8, 2021 at 19:00 CET (UTC+1), where we will present the program and explain how to register. During the 2021/2022 school year, we will conduct 15 workshops/lectures/webinars. The format of classes will be agreed with teachers.
