Biographical note
Dean of the Woodbury School of Business at Utah Valley University. He holds a PhD in Management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. His research and teaching focuses on cross-cultural management with additional research interests in business in and around protected areas and business education. This research has taken him from the ivy-covered halls of the United States to the islands of the Pacific and onto the wilds of Africa. He has also been privileged to serve as an academic administrator in the United States, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Nigeria. Further, he has taught MBA and undergraduate students in China, Brazil, the Middle East, and Africa. An active consulting and training agenda has found him working with organizations around the world such as HSBC, Dubai Municipality, the Polynesian Cultural Center, Valmont International, and Ajman University of Science and Technology.
