Our English Language Summer School is a six-week non-degree program, designed for students who wish to quickly improve their English language competencies, before starting a degree program at a university.
There are 25 hours of instruction per week. During the course, students improve their speaking, listening, comprehension, grammar, reading and writing skills. The program focuses on equipping them with language skills necessary for analysis and comprehension of academic texts and for critical assessment of complex theories and terms. Students also learn about some aspects of Polish culture, such as film, history, literature, art and music.
The course starts with a written and oral assessment test, which allows us to place students in groups appropriate to their English competency. Learning at the appropriate level ensures rapid skill development and allows participants to communicate with an increasing ease and confidence.
Candidates who achieve at least level B2 on the final test will be able to proceed to university degree programs in Polish. Others may choose to enroll in our English Preparatory School » to continue language skill development.
