Profile

Anna Rogala is a psychologist. She specializes in work-related health psychology and psychological interventions enabled by new technologies. She researches the impact of positive emotions and the belief in one’s agency on work adjustment. While gathering data, she considers both, the view of an individual employee and whole teams. She is also interested in the role personal resources play in work engagement and professional burnout as well as practical applications of psychological research in online psychological interventions.

She was a part of a StresLab research team, which worked on an international project E-COMPARED (European Comparative Effectiveness Research on Online Depression) that examined the efficacy and economic viability of online therapy for individuals suffering from depression. She also participated in “Stres Pomagających” (Helpers’ Stress), the first every psychological intervention in Poland aimed at first responders and persons working with victims of trauma, who themselves might experience secondary trauma.

She is a member of the European Society for Research on Internet Interventions (ESRII) and the European Association of Work and Organizational Psychology (EAWOP).
