Ewa Ger, Ph.D. is an experienced executive specializing in managing large teams and strategic projects in the public and private sector.
She has gained academic experience as an Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Silesia as well as a lecturer at the WSB University in Poznań, University of Economics in Katowice, and the Katowice School of Economics. She held high-ranking positions in the public administration, was a member of many boards and served as director in numerous commercial companies and partnerships. She was also a board member of various NGOs and has broad experience in collaborating and partnering with research and public administration institutions.
She is an expert in managing projects in the education, social and private sectors. Additionally, she has experience in developing legislation, coordinating EU projects, and liaising with mass media. Her consulting and training experience comprises change management, communication skills, team building, conflict resolution as well as business and adversarial negotiations.
Over the years, she held the following positions: Director of Human Capital Management at TVP S.A., Director of Foreign Affairs at the Minister of Culture and National Heritage (MKiDN), Consul of the Republic of Poland and the Head of Public Affairs at the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in New York, Vice-President of the Board of Directors of Fundacja Edukacja Bez Granic (Foundation for Education without Borders), Head of L. Grant HR Consulting, and member of the Supervisory Board of the Industrial Development Agency.
As the Consul of the Republic of Poland she championed the development of a Polish Department at the Columbia University in New York.
She authored numerous publications on HR issues, external subject-matter expert in social psychology and management for the Newsweek magazine (Polish edition), speaker and panel member at various conferences, including the Economic Forum in Krynica and HR Directors’ Forum, and the initiator and co-founder of wspieramkulture.pl, the only crowdfunding service in Poland aimed at supporting cultural projects.
