Profile
Professor Ewa Majewska is a feminist theorist of culture. Her research focuses on the archive studies, dialectics of the weak; feminist critical theory and antifascism.
Academic Appointments
She held teaching positions at the Berlin University of the Arts, the University of Warsaw, and the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. Additionally, she was a visiting scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, the ICI Berlin Institute for Cultural Inquiry, and the Institute for Human Sciences (IWM) in Vienna.
Research
She is the Principal Investigator in the project “Public against their will. The production of subjects in the archives of ‘Hiacynt Action’”. She also conducts extracurricular seminars for studetns on this topic.

Professional Engagement
She co-curated an exhibition of Mariola Przyjemska's work at Zachęta — Natioal Gallery of Art (2022-2023). Additionally, she is a committee member of the Utopian Studies Society, a European interdisciplinary association devoted to the study of utopianism in all its forms.
