Konrad Bocian, Ph.D. is a social psychologist, researcher, and science journalist. He researches biases in moral judgements on the individual and group level, moral development and moral conformity as well as the impact of new technologies on everyday morality.
He is a recipient of a scholarship awarded by the Foundation for Polish Science, beneficiary of the Mieczysław Bekker program offered by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA), winner of the Robert Zajonc award granted by the Polish Society of Social Psychology (PSPS)), finalist of the OPUS, SONATA, and Miniatura granting schemes provided by the National Science Centre, and winner of competitions organized by the European Association of Social Psychology.
He published numerous articles on moral cognition in peer reviewed international journals, and is Associate Editor of the Social Psychological Bulletin and the European Journal of Social Psychology.
Dr. Bocian teaches social and applied psychology at SWPS University in Sopot.
