Profile
Magdalena Kubów holds a doctoral degree in Economics in Management Studies. Her research interests include: trend watching, trend forecasting (especially social and cultural), designing business models and developing social innovation and entrepreneurship in the network society.
She is a member of the contest jury for the European Youth Awards (2017, 2018, 2019), is involved in the mYouth 2.0 project, and collaborates with the International Center for New Media. As a subject-matter expert, she is involved in various projects focused on innovation, entrepreneurship and business model design, such as “Entrepreneurship in Creative Industries (ALK)” and “Get Inspired! (SALTO – YOUTH)”. She is also involved in various cross-sector research projects comprising academia, business, and NGOs and contributes to foresight projects.
For the past ten years, she has been designing and implementing programs, which facilitate cooperation between business and local government in the public services sector. In cooperation with the City of Warsaw, the National Center for Culture and various NGOs, she co-develops, coordinates and implements, programs that improve residents’ quality of life. She has nine years of teaching experience, gained at various higher education institutions, such as SWPS University, Kozminski University and the Faculty of Management of the University of Warsaw.
At SWPS University, she lectures on business model design, social innovation design and management.
