International, bilingual journalist specializing in science, technology, and business. Communications consultant and business trainer with M.A. in English and Linguistics. As a broadcast journalist with the BBC World Service in London Rafał was editor and producer of the BBC flagship programs ‘World Business Report’ and ‘Science in Action.’ He also worked as London correspondent for Puls Biznesu and freelanced for The Independent, NPR and RTE. Since 2006 he has been Polish Radio’s Science and Technology Correspondent.
His area of academic research is journalism.
Rafał is a finalist of the Science Promotor contest organized by the Polish Press Agency and Poland's Ministry of Science.
He has co-founded his own company InterComm where he works as Executive Communications Consultant. He specializes in business communication and public speaking workshops for CEOs, managers and teams.
Rafał has been both a speaker and a host at TEDx events and moderated numerous IT conferences for Nokia (code::dive), Dolby, Capgemini and others. He is also active in the Diversity & Inclusion movement and has been awarded with the MS Ambassador title by The Polish Multiple Sclerosis Society.
He has written two books: A Straight Road to Success and Autistic Son, Desperate Dad.
