What we do

The Center researches technologies from the cultural point of view.

Scope of research

We are interested in contemporary media and also in historical research into social practices and their technological determinants. Moreover, the scope of our analysis includes narrations, which are developed in relation to technology. Our team is experienced in carrying out research using a wide range of methodologies and research tools, including ICT solutions aligned with the cultural analytics paradigm.

Our objectives

Our goal is to establish our Center as a valuable partner in international networks and research projects. The Center also serves as a research resource supporting the implementation of the strategic goal of the Institute of Humanities and the Faculty of Humanities in Warsaw, which aims to transform our teaching to include more digital tools and more topics concerning networked digital technologies.
