Collaboration and accountability
Designing space is no longer the exclusive preserve of (interior) architects or urban planners. It is now a cross-disciplinary field that integrates social sciences, ecology, technology, community involvement, and activist practices. The specific areas we focus on, such as incorporating greenery, designing for non-human life, placemaking initiatives, making urban spaces inclusive, and participatory design, demand innovative languages, tools, and collaborative models.
Our work centers on collaboration and accountability. We employ design, research, and workshop methodologies. We place a high value on engaging with diverse stakeholders, including users, institutions, and local communities. We believe that spatial design extends beyond simply shaping form; it involves working with users, building relationships, asking critical questions, and testing potential futures.
