Sustainability performance assessed globally
The Times Higher Education Sustainability Impact Ratings is the only global ranking that measures universities’ contributions to sustainable development in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
The 2026 edition evaluated 1,646 universities from 116 countries and territories, including 17 from Poland. Institutions were assessed across individual SDG categories as well as in an overall ranking. A university’s total score in a given year is calculated by combining its score in SDG 17 with its best three results on the remaining 16 SDGs.
SWPS University achieved an overall score of 66.2–73.8 points and was ranked in the 401–600 band worldwide. We secured second place in Poland, tying with four other institutions. At the same time, we remain the highest-ranked private university in Poland.
