What do wellbeing, creativity, and international collaboration have in common? Students from Poland, the Czech Republic, and Bulgaria set out to answer that question during Creative Wellbeing Labs, an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) organized by SWPS University in Kraków. Together, they explored how design, communication, and the arts can make a real difference to the quality of life in cities.
Creativity as a tool for social change
Over the course of five intensive days, participants:
- collaborated in international, interdisciplinary teams
- developed solutions to real-world challenges related to wellbeing and social inclusion in Kraków
- explored inclusive design, storytelling, and social communication methods
- tested their ideas through workshops and study visits to Wesoła Immersive and Apteka Designu
- strengthened future-ready skills, including creativity, intercultural collaboration, and responsible design.
The program resulted in innovative concepts designed to support the wellbeing of diverse communities, as well as new international partnerships. Most importantly, participants returned home with the conviction that creativity can be a powerful tool for driving meaningful social change.
