Tomasz Bierkowski

 

 

 

Profile

Professor Tomasz Bierkowski specializes in graphic design of scientific and popular science publications.

He authored several books on typography and graphic design, including O typografii [On Typography] (2008), Solidaryca – fenomen komunikacyjny [Solidarity Font – a communication phenomenon] (2018), Typografia dla humanistów [Typography for Humanists] co-authored by Ewa Repucho, Ph.D. (2018), Teksty nie tylko o typografii [Essays Not Only About Typography] (2020), Six Lessons in Typography at Rhode Island School of Design, co-author Professor Krzysztof Lenk (2021). He has also published numerous articles on typography and visual communication in Polish and international academic journals and professional publications.

He leads design workshops for design firms, and teaches at design universities in Poland and around the world.
