Inspiring Heritage
When you enter our building, you become part of a remarkable history. This grand, modernist structure—formerly the Silesian Theological Seminary—was built in the 1930s according to a design by prominent Polish architects Zygmunt Gawlik and Franciszek Mączyński. In fact, the cornerstone was blessed as early as 1926. Today, following a comprehensive renovation, the building offers a striking blend of classic elegance and modern functionality. We have carefully restored the most beautiful historical details, such as the stunning wooden staircase, the former chapel with its unique vaulted ceilings, and the assembly hall. This is a space where ever-present history inspires innovation.

Building Transformation
for comfortable learning
To blend historical character with 21st-century comfort, we completed an advanced technological refurbishment of the building:
- Comfort and Sustainability: We performed a deep thermal modernization, replacing all lighting with energy-efficient LEDs. We also introduced air conditioning and a modern heating and ventilation system with heat recovery, while adding insulation to the foundations and roof.
- Acoustic Conditions: We implemented rigorous acoustic standards by installing floating floors, sound-absorbing ceilings, and modern windows. The window designs reflect the original box-frame construction—many of which we restored and preserved as historical features—effectively blocking out the city noise from Mickiewicz Avenue.
- Full Accessibility: The building is now completely free of architectural barriers. We added modern elevators, ramps, and barrier-free entrances to ensure that everyone feels comfortable and safe.
- Refreshed Facade: We cleaned the historic facade to remove the buildup of the infamous Kraków smog.
