School of Form in Poznań

School of Form (SOF) offers unique design programs developed by a team of experts, led by Lidewij Edelkoort, the former Director of the world-renowned Design Academy Eindhoven, in the Netherlands. The design programs at SOF are founded on human-centered design and prepare students for solving real challenges of the contemporary world. Students learn how to combine functionality with esthetics and how to meet the needs of product users, while keeping in mind the environmental impact their products leave on the world. Currently, SOF offers one program in English:

Industrial Design – in this discipline, social robotics meets bionics, product design is supported by ergonomics, and material structures are created with the use of parametric algorithms. Under the watchful eye of renowned designers and specialists representing various industries, students experience first-hand the entire design process, from the concept, through planning and prototyping, to the implementation.

During the Erasmus porgram, we also introduce foreign students to Polish culture and history by celebrating the main Polish holidays, explaining Polish customs and inviting students to sample Polish cuisine. Our experience of the past few years shows that incoming Erasumus students find their stay in Poland very enriching and enjoyable.
