Magdalena Kaczkowska-Serafińska holds a doctoral degree in social sciences in the discipline of management and quality studies. She is a business trainer, consultant and academic lecturer.
Her research interests include determinants of employee satisfaction and employee engagement in the small and medium enterprise (SME) sector in Europe (e.g., in Poland and Italy), including the extremally variable business environment focused on achieving the goals of sustainable development (SDGs).
She participated in national and international research projects financed by the National Science Centre (e.g., skill management of employees who reached the age of 65 and above), Poland’s Ministry of Education and Science (e.g., impact of SDGs or artificial intelligence on employee satisfaction), and the European Union (e.g., gender equality in higher education).
Dr. Kaczkowska-Serafińska authored many publications on a multi-faceted approach to managing Generation Y employees in an intercultural context. She also published articles in Polish and international academic journals, such as Zeszyty Naukowe Uczelni Vistula, the European Research Studies Journal, and EIBAzine – International Business Perspectives.
She is a consultant to the European Commission on the implementation of the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HR Excellence in Research).
At SWPS University she teaches the following classes, in Polish and English: team management, human and social capital, emotions and motivation in management, group work methods, and teamwork tools.
