Ewelina Smoktunowicz, Ph.D. is a psychologist specializing in e-health and internet interventions. She designs and tests the effectiveness of internet interventions aimed at improving mental health and well-being across various groups of users – from adolescents to adults, who balance work and personal life. In her research, she explores factors that encourage people to uptake and complete internet interventions.

She is the Principal Investigator in the Polish team working on a European project SMILE, which aims to enhance the well-being of adolescents and young adults across Europe.

Dr. Smoktunowicz is a recipient of the Minister of Science Scholarship for Outstanding Young Scientists and the Bekker Program, funded by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange. She is also the author and co-author of internationally recognized publications and has secured grants funded by the National Science Center (NCN), the National Center for Research and Development (NCBR), and the European Commission.
