The Clinical Psychology study track offered by SWPS University is based on the latest clinical science and provides education in clinical assessment and intervention. We train future clinicians to implement a wide range of evidence-based practices consistent with ethical and professional standards. Our curriculum is structured to build your confidence as a future practitioner through a clear progression of skills.

Over the course of study, you will:

• Apply your knowledge in the field, completing a 100-hour psychological practice that includes specialized clinical training.
• Conduct original research, culminating in the design and completion of your Master’s thesis.

How to select this study track?

You make the decision during the admission process

Clinical Psychology is one of two study tracks offered within our graduate (Master’s) Psychology program. You choose your study track during the admission process and begin following it from your first semester. The other available option is Business Psychology.

Applicants are ranked based on their admission score, gained during the three-step admission process, and accepted within the available number of places for each study track.

Please note: Students in the Psychology program, who complete the Clinical Psychology study track, obtain the professional title of magister psychologii. Information concerning the Clinical Psychology study track is provided in the diploma supplement (in the section for additional information).

What does the application process for international candidates at SWPS University look like?

The application process for international candidates at SWPS University is completed online. You create an account in our Application Portal, complete the application form, upload the required documents, and pass an entry exam (if required for your study program). If you pass these preliminaries successfully, you conclude the electronic agreement on the payment terms for studies, deliver original documents to the Admisions Office, download your Admission Decision from the Application Portal, and pay the tuition fee.
