Discover Clinical Psychology at SWPS University

The Clinical Psychology program offered by SWPS University is based on the latest clinical science and provides education in clinical assessment and intervention. We train future clinicians to implement a wide range of evidence-based practices consistent with ethical and professional standards. Our curriculum is structured to build your confidence as a future practitioner through a clear progression of skills.

During the first year, you will:

• Receive intensive theoretical education and study introduction to clinical treatment
• Gain extensive knowledge of child and adult psychopathology
• Acquire basic skills related to psychotherapy, assessment, and clinical research.

During the second year, you will:

• Explore the psychotherapeutic process, looking closely at how change happens and how to develop effective professional relationships.
• Develop specialized practical skills, learning how to work with families, groups, and individuals dealing with behavioral addictions.
• Apply your knowledge in the field, completing a 100-hour psychological practice that includes specialized clinical training.
• Conduct original research, culminating in the design and completion of your Master’s thesis.

Decyzję podejmujesz podczas rekrutacji na studia

Psychologia kliniczna to jedna z dwóch specjalności oferowanych na studiach II studia na kierunku psychologia. Specjalność wybierasz już na etapie rekrutacji i realizujesz od pierwszego semestru studiów. Do wyboru masz jeszcze Business Psychology.

Przyjmujemy kandydatów z największą liczbą punktów, w ramach określonego limitu miejsc na danej specjalności.

Please note: Students in the Psychology program, who complete the Clinical Psychology study track, obtain the professional title of magister psychologii. Information concerning the Clinical Psychology study track is provided in the diploma supplement (in the section for additional information).
