What can babies tell us about the origins of autism? Join us for an open lecture by Professor Katarzyna Chawarska titled "In Search for Susceptibility Biomarkers in Autism". She will talk about early symptoms of autism and the latest diagnostic approaches used to identify them. The event will take place at SWPS University in Wrocław.
Groundbreaking research on autism
Professor Chawarska is one of the world's leading experts on early autism detection. Her research focuses on detecting the earliest biological and behavioral indicators of autism risk, before any clinical symptoms appear. Her team uses eye-tracking and brain imaging to identify these indicators within the first months, and even weeks, of life.
This is a rare chance to hear from a researcher whose work is at the forefront of how we understand and recognize autism early on.
Everyone is welcome — including autistic adults, students, researchers, clinicians, teachers, therapists, parents, families, and anyone interested in the latest developments in autism research.
Attendance is free. No registration is required. The lecture will be delivered in English.
