There are five research institutes at SWPS University. The institutes are responsible for the organization and coordination of research projects carried out by our researchers.

The Institute of Law coordinates and oversees research projects carried out by legal professionals at SWPS University. The Institute has the authority to grant doctoral degrees and post-doctoral degrees (habilitacja) in the discipline of law.

Director: Karol Murlak, Ph.D. / Assistant Professor
The Institute of Design brings together the creative community of SWPS University across its campuses in Poland’s three largest cities: Warsaw, Kraków, and Wrocław. This includes designers and artists, as well as researchers exploring the field of art and design.
