The Faculty of Law and Communication in Wrocław offers study programs in several disciplines, including law, graphic design, journalism and public relations. Its interdisciplinary design program is renowned for human-centered approach to design and the newly added law studies are based on practical teaching methodology practiced in Anglo-American law schools.

Education
Journalism with a Difference
The Faculty offers a Journalism program, which focuses on new media and public relations for organizations and public figures. Students learn under the guidance of experienced practitioners and create individual projects ready for potential real life applications. The Faculty collaborates with Gazeta Wyborcza, one of the largest Polish daily newspapers, Radio Eska, a popular radio station as well as advertising and public relation agencies.
Human-Centered Design
The Faculty also offers a Design program focusing on graphic design and visual communication. The unique curriculum offered by SWPS University is focused on human-centered design combining technical design skills with public communication and psychology.
Students have an opportunity to participate in workshops conducted by renowned experts, including Dirk Henkelmann - Dirk&Philip Kommunikation Agency, from Berlin, Germany Eirik Laangas and Thomas Lewe - Volda University College, Norway.
Practical Approach to Teaching Law
In 2016, SWPS University in Wrocław extended its educational offer to include Law Studies. The program has been designed to prepare the graduates for careers in traditional law professions, business, diplomacy and politics. The program of study emphasises the practical approach to teaching law, including case and casebook methodology used in Anglo-American law schools, individual tutoring and support in entering the job market.
Acclaimed Researchers and Experienced Practitioners
The team of academics at the Faculty of Law and Communication includes renowned specialists. Such as: prof. Michael Fleischer – design history expert, prof. Jerzy Olek – theory and practical application of conceptual art and photography, Tomasz Wołodźko – journalist and radio host at Radio Eska, Wojciech Cegielski – Polish Public Radio foreign correspondent, Professor Hubert Izdebski – lawyer, specializing in administrative law, Michał Rudy, Ph.D.. – lawyer, expert in administrative and veterinary law.
State-of-the-Art Equipment
SWPS University in Wrocław provides state-of-the-art facilities to support the educational process, including an art studio, a printing workshop, professional photography studio, and computer labs equipped with the latest software, such as: Adobe Creative Suite, 2ds MAX, Maya, Softimage, MotionBuilder, Mudbox, Toxik, Sticher, SketchBookPro, and FontLab Studio. Additionally, students have access to a focus group facility with a one-way mirror and a neuropsychology lab equipped with an electroencephalograph for EEG measurements, galvanic skin response equipment (GSR), an eye-tracker, and a Cedrus Response Pad for behavioral research.
